NO SCHOOL

Lazy Days- My sister (Saint) had both Lincoln and Julia over for a sleep-over and we ended up being there all day!

The kids literally played outside every minute .  I’m Loving it, it’s  finally fall in Nevada and the weather was perfect!!

Audrey enjoyed the freedom of playing barefoot by the street, with the big kids!  Being the wonderful mother that I am she is of course wearing a helmet (truth be told, she found the it herself)!

Lincoln loves the Malibu (Abby’s bike).  He is working on perfecting his pop-a-wheely!  Undersized pink bikes are the in thing for 8 year old boys!   At Aunt Stephanie’s house there are actually neighborhood children for my kids to play with and Lincoln especially, loved it.

Julia in all her chocolate-stache  glory!  She dressed herself, including accessories in what they (Abby, Susanna, & Julia) Call the Hannah Montanna outfit, complements of her cousins!

Steph (sis) and I, mostly Stephanie, made the most scrumptious chocolate chip-oatmeal cookies, dangerous!

We packaged them up to take to Great Aunt Jennie and Great Uncle Leon (no relation to each other, they’re on opposite sides of the family) at the assisted living home.  I’ve been wanting to go visit for over a month and we finally did it!  The girls drew them some lovely pictures.   I’m really glad the kids came along.  Even though Audrey threw a fit the entire time we were there!  Uncle Leon was so happy to have visitors and told us that he gets lonely.  We will be going more often!  He is 93, hard of hearing (he could hardly hear us, but wanted to know why that baby (Audrey) was crying so much) and not in good health, yet still has a great sense of humor.  I Hope I’m like that when I grow old!  When we left the kids asked why we were yelling at him

Hopefully Julia grows more fond of the visits.  I couldn’t smell anything foul.  It is actually a really nice place, but she plugged her nose the whole time!

No way! Is Audrey wearing Naartjie??
I love them! We have the very same dress! I have never seen it on anyone around here, and I swear I saw Audrey wearing some Hanna Andersson at church one time. Love your taste in clothes!!

And, I just visited Megan's blog and thought your Carter/Reagan comment was excellent!

So cute. I think it is so funny about Julia plugging her nose. My girls did the same thing. Mostly Sydney and Haley. (My sisters daughter) when we would go see my dad. I never noticed anything. That picture is priceless. Sydney and I enjoyed looking at the birthday pics. He is so cute. And as for my blog, I had been meaning to get on for a long time. You just gave me the push I needed. :)

I don't blame Julia... sometimes those places smell pretty bad. Let me know next time you visit uncle Leon so I can come too!
