Truth:
Life with 4 kids is often insane and contrary to what some members of my ward have suggested I do not have it all together. Last year church was at 2 pm and we barely made it. We’ve moved to 9am and I couldn’t pull it together this week. There was some legitimacy to not going, Audrey has a cold! Question- Why can I get my children to school at 9, but can’t make it to sacrament meeting?
I am completely addicted to blogging. Be grateful that you cannot see me as I read your posts. I feel more productive if I multi-task~ example~ pump while blogging, nurse while blogging, I’m certain if I had a lap-top it would accompany me to the lady’s room (actually around here it is most definitely the man’s room- urine stained and all)!
I haven’t showered in two days because I have no clean underwear and I can’t fathom the thought of putting my dirty grundies back on! No worries, I actually started a load tonight!!
I bribe my two year old with candy to get her to stop screaming- thank heavens we have dentists in the family! We can’t figure out why she won’t break the habit!?
My baby is screaming upstairs as I write this post and I am letting him. He literally wants to be held all of the time now and I am going slightly crazy. Thank heavens he has adorable chubby, squishy cheeks to kiss, or I’d feel like I get nothing done!!!
I know that life will get back to normal someday, whatever normal is, but for now I’m going to enjoy mounds of laundry and newborn cuddling! Okay, so maybe only the cuddling.
Well, that’s enough brutal honesty for one night!

Tara, your cracking me up. I've learned its okay not to be perfect, just make sure your kids look the part and yours do.

I bribe and threaten my kids all the time. How else would we have perfect kids?!

Tara...I love your honesty in ALL your posts!! I think you have planty of valid reasons/excuses for not tackling that load of laundry (as if a newborn baby wasn't enough you had to make certain with a broken leg right?). Hang in there...life with 3 seems crazy enough to me..but 4? I'd go insane. Admittance to a mental institute doesn't sound all so bad some days! :) Hang in there!
